Ecological tourism is the opposite of conventional tourism. In ecological tourism there is awareness of the environment and it operates according to certain principals of conservation and development, while in conventional tourism everyone can do whatever they like to do even if it causes accumulated and irreversible damage.  In ecological tourism you can find other ways to enjoy different kind of activities not less then the conventional tourism, with an emphasis on nature preservation, environmental development, recycling, water conservation, teaching, and helping local communities. Many ecological tourism criterions talk about ecology, conservation and development, but most types of ecological tourism don't answer these criterions, our goal is to answer as many as possible.
