starting point:
we are in the lower Galilee area in a place that called tzalmon creek.
The creek begins in the slopes of Meiron Mountain and in his ending its spills to Lake Kinneret. From both sides you can see Hazon Mountain and Camon Mountain. From north u can see meiron mountain and from south the kinneret. In the rout we will visit a number of points along the creek and between them there is Ein tzalmon, Ein tzalmon-the flour mill, flour mill el ramie, and the spring near it, flour mill elcaradi and flour mill almashraba.
first point-ein tzalmon:
ein tzalmon is a strong spring it is the biggest spring and the first in the river and that uis why he is the most famous. The high of the water is changing from season to season but there is always enough to enjoy in it. Our recommendation is to stay in the spring and eat in there and enjoy the view.
second point-ein tzalmon flour mill:
in ein tzalmon flour mill there are remines of of a flour mill that was active in the long past. A lot of people are confusing between this mill to tzalmon mill, when tzalmon mill is actually a pumping station of "Mekorot" company and part of the national carrier .its work, tzalmon mill is doing with a help from tzalmon reservoir that is a few kilometers to south. The aim of the reservoir is to regulate the amount and the powerfull of the water that is arriving to the treatment in the mill
נקודת התחלה:
אנחנו נמצאים באזור הגליל התחתון במקום אשר נקרא נחל צלמון. הנחל מתחיל במורדות הר מירון ובסופו נשפך לכינרת. משני צדדיו ניתן לראות את הר חזון והר כמון. מצפון ניתן לראות את הר מירון ומדרום את הכינרת. במסלול נבקר במספר נקודות לאורך הנחל, ביניהן עין צלמון, טחנת הקמח עין צלמון, טחנת הקמח אל ראמיה, והמעיין שלידה, טחנת הקמח אלכראדי וטחונת אלמשרבה.
נקודה ראשונה-עין צלמון:
עין צלמון הוא מעיין איתן .הוא המעיין הגדול ביותר והראשון בנחל, ובגלל זה הוא גם המפורסם ביותר. גובה המים משתנה מעונה לעונה אך תמיד יש מספיק כדי ליהנות בו. אנו ממליצות להישאר לאכול בו וליהנות מהנוף.
נקודה שנייה-טחנת עין צלמון:
בטחנת עין צלמון שרידים של טחנת קמח שהייתה פעילה בעבר הרחוק. רבים מתבלבלים בין טחנה זו לתחנת צלמון, כשתחנת צלמון היא בעצם תחנת שאיבה של חברת מקורות וחלק מהמוביל הארצי . את עבודתה, תחנת צלמון עושה בעזרת מאגר צלמון אשר נמצא קילומטרים בודדים דרומה מאיתנו, מטרת המאגר היא לווסת את כמות ועוצמת המים המגיעים לטיפול בתחנה.
point three- el ramie mill and her lake:
this flour mill got her name from the village el ramie that is located near. To this mill has some remains of a broken dam as at her foot a pool that is recommend to stop by and enjoy from her water
נקודה שלישית-טחנת אל ראמיה והמעיין שלה:
טחנת קמח זו קיבלה את שמה מהכפר אל ראמיה שנמצא בקרבת מקום. לטנחנה זו ישנם שרידים של שכר הרוס כשלמרגלותיה בריכה שמומלץ לעצור בה ולהינות ממימייה.
נקודה רביעית-טחנת הקמח אלכראדי:
טחנת קמח זו היא הלפני אחרונה במסלולנו. למרות שלאורך הנחל קיימים שרידים של כ-14 תחנות קמח שונות. אך היחוד של טחנה זו הוא שניתן עוד לראות את גלגל הכפות שהניע אותה בעבר בכוח זרימת המים לצורך טחינת גרגירי חיטה והפיכתם לקמח.
Point four- flour mill almashraba:
this flour mill is the one before the last in our tour.
Although along the river exists remains of about a 14 different flour mills. But her singularity of this mill is that u can still see her paddle wheel that moved her in the past with the power of the water flow for grinding wheat grains and making them to flour.
נקודה חמישית-טאחונת אלמשרבה:
פירוש השם של טחנה זו הוא "מקום השתייה". הטחנה נמצאת בנקודה שבה הכביש חוצה את אפיק הנחל
point five-flour mill almashraba:
the meaning of the name of this station is "the place of drinking". The mill is located in a point when the road is crossing the river channel
finishing point –near slama:
we reached to the finishing point, our locate now is near the Bedouin village slama. The village is part of the regional council misgav. The village was planned to give a residence solution to the 4 Bedouin tribes that settled in the area and correctly for 2003 up from 480 Bedouin families lived there.
נקודם סיום-ליד סלאמה:
הגענו לנקודת הסיום, אנחנו נמצאים כרגע ליד הכפר הבדואי סלאמה. הכפר הוא חלק מהמועצה אזורית משגב. הכפר תוכנן כדי לתת פתרון מגורים לארבעת שבטי הבדואים שישבו באזור ונכון לשנת 2003 חיו שם למעלה מ480 משפחות בדואיות.
